Okay, I’m not going to do any fancy/fussy introduction teehee.

The post on Soaring the Eagle is finally here baby! 

Alright, so on the first day, all the participants gathered at KLCC to take the bus to Agrotech Resort Hulu Langat. All the KDU scholars were present, and so were those from Taylor’s, KMB and UTP. The scholars from Sunway College had to take the bus on the next day, due to their graduation ball, I think.

The first day was spent, well, by doing nothing much actually. We arrived, complained a lot on how hot it was and decided to take a dip in the sungai nearby. The water was chilly and refreshing, and the dip was definitely a fun one. We had to attend a short *snorts* briefing after dinner and swayed the night away by playing Chi Ku Pang and charades.

Classes started on the second day. All participants were divided into groups (about 4 or 5 groups, if I’m not mistaken); the overseas bound students are combined in one huge group of about thirty eight people. The group of 38 was then divided into four smaller groups named Sprinta, Syntium, Mach 5 and Primax. I was a proud member of Sprinta :)

The classes mainly consist on “developing one’s brand”, in which we worked on achieving total well being. All the activities were designed so that we could improve on the six areas which are mind, body, studies, spiritual, relationship and financial; the facilitators guided us on improving ourselves with the aid of various fun activities, the XY Game was my favorite. Apart from games, we also watched a few movies, Simon Birch and a documentary on Mahatma Gandhi to name a few. There was also this one activity called American Idol (I guess Agrotech Idol is more likely), where every group had to send a representative to sing in front of the crowd *gasps*. I represented my group (and did badly too, haha, sorry guys, it was highly nervewrecking), Cherap represented Syntium, while Joe and Jono each represented Mach 5 and Primax. Joe’s velvety voice took the crowd away easily; it runs in the family I guess, with Bond having the similar voice. I simply adore their talent.

The last night was definitely a blast. We had a barbecue, and the final round of Agrotech Idol was held. This time it was the battle between the winners (remember earlier in the post I said that there were four of five bigger groups?), where Joe was the champion again, that guy definitely has got some voice alright. I got to perform to, with John playing the guitar this time, and I did pretty badly again, haha, I’m so bad with the stage haha. It was a good experience though, facing the crowd, it drained most of my energy supply for the night, haha.

alrighteo! so there it is, a whole post dedicated to the camp. I had a lot of fun learning and exploring immeasurable sense of being. the camp had given me more motivation than i could have ever imagined. i am glad that i was able to attend the camp, despite having to sacrifice one week on the much needed holiday. that was definitely the best camp i have ever been to, hands down.

okay so i intended to post a blog on soaring the eagle. i swear to god i did. and i was about to. i've been dragging it for days because i've been trying to catch up with everything.
BUT. yes there is an effing but.
my brother took my laptop for his convenience although he already had it for a week to get his work done. and he didn't get his work done obviously. so he said he wanted to borrow it for another effing week. yes. on my holiday week.
so i said yes. obviously it's because i'm such a dear sister and he is NOT. so i woke up at 2 am last night to transfer the files i needed to his computer, his taskbar-absent computer through the network. i'm not very good with all these computer IT stuff so i asked him, "copy paste je ke?" and he said yes. an effing YES.
and guess what?
i can't friggin access those files! all the MCS stuff and the photos. ohmygod i want to cry.
i can't even do my work now it's so frustrating. and it's so annoying having to think that the club need to raise up 20k for the event. sheesh.
alaaaaa. this is annoying beyond absolute belief.
sure i can use eela's comp, but she hogs it all the time except school hours. i hate this computer grr. whaa rindu laptop :(

i guess a post on the camp will have to wait. again.
so frustrating.

So yeah I decided to blog tonight since, well, I just need to. I should be practicing the chords. Screw that, I should be revising. I have not been productive at all since I came back to shah alam, I am so rest deprived, it’s almost a crime. I have been eating and sleeping a lot this whole week. Gahaha, rest deprived huh? Gila tak sedar diri khamis ade physics and chemistry. Eek.

And I have been worried sick about my university application since I got The List. I mean really, is it necessary to get into an Ivy League? I like being normal thankyouverymuch. I don’t need to be smart and be a show-off. It’s okay kan that out of 20 universities, I qualify to apply to only six? Six. SIX! Hahaha. Screw me. I can go insane talking about this.

I worry too much don’t I?

Is my future job going to be that lucrative that I need to work this hard and worry this much?

1.      saya mempunyai tabiat menggigit jari apabila saya berasa risau. semasa saya memakai pendakap gigi, tabiat ini berkurangan buat sementara waktu kerana susah untuk menggigit jari dengan kehadiran pendakap gigi, tetapi tabiat itu kembali apabila pendakap gigi sudah dibuka.

3.       menduduki peperiksaan SAT pada 3 mei 2008. sakit leher saya menjawab peperiksaan dalam masa 5 jam. zip seluar saya patah pada hari yang sama :S

4.       dimasukkan ke hospital kerana menghidapi denggi semasa berada di tingkatan 4. pengalaman yang tidak akan saya lupakan, saya benci jarum!

5.       belajar main gitar 2 bulan yang lepas. saya rasa tentu cikgu saya dah penat dan letih ajar saya yang tak pandai-pandai ni.

6.      membuat persembahan tarian di hadapan orang ramai semasa berusia 6 tahun untuk konsert tadika saya.

7.       seperti joyce, menyertai BRATS dan menaiki kapal terbang bersama dia ke pulau pinang. ia merupakan sesuatu pengalaman (that was some experience!)
